    Joel Ien is a life-long educator who has worked as a teacher, principal and professor at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. If the surname "Ien" sounds familiar, it’s probably because you've seen Joel's daughter, Marci, on TV. Marci is a co-host on CTV's Canada AM and occasionally an anchor for CTV National News.

    Roney Lewis is a perfect example of what you can accomplish with a little dedication and persistence.

    Three-time Grammy Award winning pianist, composer and arranger Billy Childs’ musical gift has opened many doors for him, and given him the platform to arrange music for artists such as s Chris Botti, Sting, Gladys Knight, Michael Bublé, and David Foster.

    Angelina Williams is the current chair of the Harry Jerome Awards. It is presented by the Black Business Professional Association and regarded as one of the most prestigious awards ceremonies within the Black Canadian community.

    He is known as the accomplished Award Winning Gospel artist VaShawn Mitchell, whose name spans the globe; however, his journey to success wasn’t without its challenges.

    You may not be able to see her in James and the Giant Peach, because tickets are selling so well, that they have already extended the show to January 2015. Saccha Dennis acts, sings and has performed in several productions across Canada, including We Will Rock You , Ragtime, My Fair Lady and Maria Severa.

    Stachen Frederick founded the BrAIDS for AIDS organization after feeling burdened by what she saw as an oppressive, imperialist method of addressing HIV/AIDS in the African/Caribbean community.

    You’ve probably seen her as a series regular on Flashpoint as the fierce Leah Kerns, decked out in swat police gear. Or maybe you recognize her from the horror movie Saw 3D, or possibly the Toronto based series The Listener.

    Every Saturday night on G98.7FM, without fail, between 7pm to 10pm, Karl the Hitman Marshall treats oldies lovers to the musical gems that had them dropping dance moves like the prep, the worm and electric slide as teenagers.

    Craig Doyle Henry also known as CDH Live is an accomplished poet, producer, songwriter and rapper who has thrilled audiences across North America including New York City, Chicago, Atlanta and Toronto.
